This poem uses the Macao constraint - only ‘flat’ letters, ie those that have no ascenders or descenders, are permitted. Just letters that are small, and mostly rounded - like a mouse.

So a poem about a mouse seemed appropriate.

mouse ears

no moon, no sun, no view

me (semiconscious):  someone is near....

sense a nose - someone is near....

sense some ears - someone is near...

wee wee wee

vermin

vicious vermin

maximum scream now

wee wee wee ceases

no more vermin

sun rises

we see one mouse

one wee mouse

wee mouse (semiconscious):

ow ow ow sore ears

soz, mouse.
